FIA European Cup for Cross-Country Bajas
FIA European Cup for Cross-Country Bajas
As part of efforts to promote Cross-Country Bajas in more countries and regions, and help encourage new drivers and teams to the discipline, Regional Cups have been introduced from 2021. The first – the FIA European Cup for Cross-Country Bajas – will run this year, providing entrants with a cost-effective opportunity to compete for an FIA title.
In 2021, the final five rounds of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas will count towards the new European title and on these events, competitors must specify they are competing in the Regional Cup only, giving them the opportunity to fight for their own title.
For all titles - Drivers, Co-drivers, Teams, T3 and T4 Drivers and T4 Teams - the maximum number of best results retained in the final classifications of the scheduled five-round series is four, which reduces should fewer events be run.
