Codasur Rally Championship
Codasur Rally Championship
On a continent where rallying is hugely popular, the FIA CODASUR Rally Championship has provided gravel-based action since 1997. And with COVID-19 restrictions having eased, the series is on the up once again.
Taking its name from the regional governing body, Confederacion Deportiva Automovilismo Sudamericana, the CODASUR championship is a truly cross-continental competition with rounds planned in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay in 2023.
As well as Rally2, Rally3, Rally4 and Rally5 cars, Maxi Rally cars, a concept developed in Argentina, are permitted along with Group NR4 cars.
