The SRO Motorsports Group is proud to announce that the Blancpain Endurance Series has been voted European Race Series of the Year. During the Professional MotorSport World Expo Awards Ceremony in Cologne an independent judging panel of motorsport experts highlighted the qualities of the Series.

An enthralling championship that delivers full, diverse grids, which ensures great, close racing for amateur and professional alike.”

The members of the jury of the Professional MotorSport World Expo Awards – composed of renowned journalists, experienced drivers and senior management of high level motorsports teams – was full of praise for the Blancpain Endurance Series, which they voted European Race Series of the Year.

Ever since 2011, the SRO Motorsports Group has worked to make the Blancpain Endurance Series the success it is now. Drivers and teams alike enjoy taking part in what may be considered as the leading GT series on the motorsports planet, especially since the iconic Total 24 Hours of Spa have been part of the series from the start.

David Tremayne (editor and member of the jury): “Motorsport needs championships in which professionals and gentlemen racers alike can participate with honour and success. Nothing provides that better on the European stage than the Blancpain Endurance Series.

Stephane Ratel (CEO and Founder of SRO Motorsports Group): “We at the SRO Motorsports Group consider it a great honour that the Blancpain Endurance Series has been voted European Race Series of the Year. The close-fought battles and high level of racing throughout the year made this season a very exciting one. One only has to look at the small gaps between the cars at the end of each race to realise that the Balance of Performance in our Series fully works. It is clear that these exciting races appeal to the fans. We are already looking forward to the 2015 Blancpain Endurance Series. With new teams and new models likely to be joining the grid, 2015 promises to be an exciting season. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our partners, especially title sponsor Blancpain, for their support since the launch of the Series.
