Aston Martin Racing scooped the winners’ trophies for both the LMGTE Pro and Am categories while the third and fourth place finishes of the two AF Corse F458 Italias delivered for Ferrari a much deserved FIA Endurance Cup for GT Manufacturers.

After setting the fastest two laps of the first Free Practice session Porsche repeated the feat with another 1-2 in Free Practice 2 with the no20 Porsche 919 hybrid of Mark Webber topping the time sheets with a 1m18.349, eighth tenths quicker than the earlier best time and just 0.091s ahead of the no14 919 of Romain Dumas.
