Formula E has today announced that the first-ever all-women test session of an FIA Championship will take place on Thursday 7th November at Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, as part of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship’s pre-season testing schedule.

In a groundbreaking move, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix has introduced a Women’s Marshal Post at the pivotal Turn 16. This is the third year of this initiative, which puts female marshals at the heart of race operations and highlights their important role in the event.

Fifiteen candidates from 13 different countries advance to the next stage and will join a Training Camp at M-Sport Poland headquarters in Krakow from 16-18 September. Three seats will be available for the WRC's Central European Rally in October.

The WIM mentorship programme has received more than 850 applications from women seeking or building careers in motor sport since its launch in June The first-of-its-kind programme will expand from 300 to 500 places in 2025 The programme is part of FIA efforts to double motor sport participation

The programme will provide a launchpad for up-and-coming female drivers to advance their careers, beginning this European summer.

Designed to facilitate growth and knowledge sharing, the programme will pair experienced women with those wanting to get into motor sport and those already in it The programme was launched from the FIA 2024 Conference in Samarkand, Uzbekistan and during the WIM networking event at Le Mans, France

The FIA Girls on Track program is set to expand its reach to the Australia’s Northern Territory in 2024, with two events scheduled for June. In collaboration with Motorsport Australia, Motorsport NT and Major Events NT, this initiative aims to boost participation of young women in motorsport. Following a successful edition last year, the program returns to Darwin while venturing to Alice Springs for the first time.

Established in 2022 under the umbrella of the Brazilian Confederation of Motorsports (CBA) and its President, Giovanni Guerra, the Comissão Feminina do Automobilismo (CFA) remains steadfast in its mission to foster a more inclusive motor sport community. Their dedication to diversity and inclusion has earned commendation, notably receiving the "FIA José Abed Awards" for their impactful "FIA Girls on Track: engineers and mechanics" initiative.

After an extensive selection process, the winners of the 2023 FIA Girls on Track - Rising Stars edition have been determined. Alba Hurup Larsen (Denmark) has won the Senior edition. FDA will monitor her progress next season on visits to Maranello. After an excellent demonstration both on and off the track, Vanesa Silkunaite (Lithuania) has won in the Junior category.

Five accomplished Australian senior medical officials took center stage at the September Singapore Grand Prix, marking a significant collaboration between Motorsport Australia, the Singapore GP Organising Committee, and the global FIA Women in Motor Sport campaign.
