Esteban Guerrieri will follow in the wheel tracks of fellow Argentine José María López when he makes his FIA World Touring Car Championship debut on home soil next month.
The FIA European Touring Car Cup title battle – and a World Touring Car Championship prize drive – will go down to the wire in Italy in early October after rivals Petr Fulín and Kris Richard shared the wins at Magny-Cours to draw level on points at the top of the table.
Kris Richard has taken pole position at FIA ETCC Race of Magny-Cours despite crashing his Honda Civic with just under half of the 30-minute session remaining.
