The FIA GT and Formula 3 World Cups are set to be held for the first time since 2019, with the two competitions returning to their traditional November date and venue, Macau’s Guia Circuit, for the landmark 70th running of the Macau Grand Prix

Australia’s first all-Indigenous race team, Racing Together has launched its new headquarters at Queensland Raceway. The team, created by FIA Formula 1 Steward Garry Connelly and his wife Monique, facilitates and encourages the involvement of young First Nations Australians in motorsport and empowers them to find employment in the sport including mechanical, engineering and driving roles.

Motorsport Australia encourages aspiring young drivers aged 14-17 to apply for this year's edition of the prestigious Ferrari Driver Academy (FDA) Asia Pacific and Oceania Selection Program, which will take place in Malaysia from September 23-27.

The Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM) has endorsed the Technology Transfer Apprenticeship Programme (TTAP), which aims to cultivate highly skilled talents in motor sport. The programme, established and run by Persona Energy in collaboration with Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera, has recently produced 95 graduates.

The Asia-Pacific region has gone into overdrive as it embraces the FIA Rally Star talent detection scheme and the opportunities it provides to increase motor sport participation.

On the occasion of the recently held 6 Hours of Fuji, the FIA World Endurance Championship’s first race in the land of the rising sun since 2019, the series resumed the tradition to open its doors to the local community by inviting children from nearby elementary schools

For the first time, an FIA Girls on Track event was held in Asia, Jakarta on June 3rd ahead of the ABB FIA Formula E race. It was an exciting experience for 100 local girls, supported by FIA member club, Ikatan Motor Indonesia.

Awarded by the FIA Sport Grant Programme, the Motorsport Development Program (MSDP) – a grassroots racing program of the Automobile Association of Philippines (AAP) – is set to come back in 2022.
