Launched in 2016, the Automóvil Club de Costa Rica (ACCR) scholarship programme offers a unique opportunity for youngsters aged 8-12 to delve into the world of competitive karting. Designed to foster their passion for the sport, the programme not only provides valuable experience but also facilitates their active participation in a prestigious national karting championship.

In 2021, the Automovil Club de Guatemala (ACG) introduced Grassroot Karting with the Tillotson T4 Category, featuring an arrive-and-drive package in two classes: light for young drivers/teenagers and heavy for bigger drivers. Over the course of 2021 to 2023, the category experienced substantial growth, expanding from 6 to 20 karts on the grid, with over 30 drivers of both genders participating.

Autoclásica 2023 concluded its twenty-first edition at the San Isidro racetrack from October 12 to 16, hosting an impressive array of over 1,200 vehicles. The Automóvil Club Argentino (ACA) played a prominent role, contributing to the success of the exhibition by presenting several iconic vehicles at their stand.

The recent 2023 FIA American Congress, hosted by the Automóvil Club Guatemala with the support of FIA Regions III and IV and the North and South America FIA sport regions, celebrated the success of the Caribbean Junior Karting Academy Trophy (CJKAT) and its positive impact on motor sport development in the Americas. The Automóvil Club del Ecuador (ANETA) has announced the successful implementation of their E-karting strengthening and Esports project. The initiative was made possible through the FIA Grant Sport Programme, which aimed to promote motor sport and support the ANETA electric karting school.

Jose “Abito” Caparo is the winner of the FIA Rally Star American Final after the Peruvian came out on top following three days of intense competition and assessment.

The FIA Rally Star American and Women’s Finals, which had been due to take place from February 19-22 at Ronex Park, Lima, Peru have been postponed and an alternative venue is being evaluated.
