The FIA Region I Plenary Assembly provided an opportunity for all Region I Clubs to look back on the year gone by and focus on what lies ahead, in particular regarding digital memberships and the future of international travel documents.

Each year, more than 800 children under the age of 15 are killed on European roads and 100,000 are injured (1). As pedestrians and cyclists, children are some of the most vulnerable road users of all. The FIA, MEP Olga Sehnalova, Former racing driver and BMX World Champion Alex Wurz and the Czech Automobile Club UAMK joined together to urge children to Stay Bright this winter with the correct use of reflective gear.

On 29 June, the FIA’s annual Summer Cocktail at the Bibliothèque Solvay brought together nearly 150 policymakers, European Automobile Clubs and stakeholders in the mobility community of Brussels.

FIA Region I launches report on autonomous driving during its annual summer cocktail at the Bibliothèque Solvay.

FIA Region I, which brings together 118 FIA Motoring and Touring Clubs and their 38 million members from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, held its annual Spring Meeting in Tunis, Tunisia on 5-8 May 2015.

The annual FIA Region I Spring Meeting will take place on 6-8 May 2015 in Tunis, Tunisia. It will host the Customs Council Meeting on 5 May and a World Council for Automobile Mobility and Tourism meeting on 8 May.
