Led by FIA Region IV with the support of the Automóvil Club del Ecuador ANETA the "Seminar on Sustainable Mobility" was organised in the Galapagos and looked at new business models that are more respectful of the environment and that can help to reduce the mobility carbon footprint.

The City of Cordoba, the Region of Andalusia and the Real Automóvil Club de España (RACE) will host the 2023 FIA Conference and Extraordinary General Assembly from 20-22 June. The 2023 FIA Conference will focus on “Accelerating Change: Member-Driven, Knowledge-Led Transformation” and gather Delegates from FIA Member Organisations around the world. It will give the floor to the FIA Senior Leadership Team, FIA Club experts and international keynote speakers to address strategic topics for motor sport and mobility. A Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup challenge will be organised as part of the event.

FIA Member Club the Automobile Association of Vietnam celebrates one year of the ‘Power of No’ campaign. Led by a multi-sector alliance of 28 organisations, the ‘Power of No’ campaign aims to raise awareness of the dangers of drink-driving among young people aged 18-30 in six Southeast Asian countries (Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam). Over 39 million youths have been reached by this digital campaign so far.

FIA Member Club the Norwegian Automobile Federation (NAF) and Motor tested the range and charging speed in winter weather of 29 electric cars available in Norway. The world’s largest winter electric car test, carried out for the fourth year. Maxus Euniq6 takes the overall top spot whilst the Tesla Model S Standard sets a new distance record of 530km. All car models showed a deviation from the official range because of the cold weather. NAF calls for an official European winter-WLTP (Worldwide harmonised Light vehicle Test Procedure) to better inform consumers
