This week has seen a huge landmark announcement from New York where the final draft of the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) was made public before its scheduled presentation to the UN Member States during the upcoming general assembly in September. Two major mobility objectives are prominently featured within these goals.

Croatian auto club Hrvatski autoklub’s (HAK) “5 for kids”, which was awarded a subsidy through the FIA Road Safety Grant Programme for 2015, is a combination of HAK’s five projects for spring 2015: #SaveKidsLives, Think Bike, Sigurno u prometu (“Safe in traffic”) - FIA ETEC pre-contest, school traffic units contest and Zagreb Energy Week. The initiative took place in May 2015.

The FIA President, Jean Todt, visited several countries in Latin America last week to raise awareness in a region where road crashes are a crucial challenge as well as to support the efforts of clubs to develop motor sport.
