The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) is pleased to announce the appointment of global producer and supplier of electricity, EDF, as an Official Technical Supplier for audit and research tests of propulsion, charging, and electrical safety in motor sport. EDF is a leader on research issues surrounding electric vehicles, batteries and charging systems.

Organisers of the FIA Formula E Championship have yesterday revealed the location and circuit layout of the Beijing Formula E Grand Prix – exactly six months ahead of the opening round of the new global electric race series.

Formula E’s new fully-electric race car, the Spark-Renault SRT_01E, made its first ever public demonstration on January 6th, entertaining crowds with a high-speed display around the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

The series will compete in the heart of 10 of the world's leading cities including Putrajaya.
