INTERESTING FACTS:
- Silverstone Circuit hosted its first RAC International Grand Prix in 1948, and was the venue for the first ever round of the Formula One World Championship in 1950
- Many parts of Silverstone Circuit still bear the same names they were given in 1948. Several iconic turns like Copse, Abbey and Becketts have become favourites among drivers.
