World Cup for Cross Country Rallies
This year, the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies benefits from an expanded calendar that will take the contenders around the globe for spectacular action over a diverse range of terrain.
New events in 2021 see the series head into Europe for cross-country rallies in Portugal and Spain, with an additional encounter in Saudi Arabia heralding welcome new challenges alongside the established events in Kazakhstan, Morocco and Abu Dhabi, which will provide familiarity for the crews. Each cross-country rally will take in five days of competition and at least 1,200 kilometres of selective sections.
Crews will once again be fighting for overall points in the World Cup for Drivers, Co-Drivers and Teams,
with separate Driver titles awarded in T3 and T4 as well as a T4 Teams trophy. The maximum number of best results retained in the final classifications of the scheduled seven-round series is five, which reduces should fewer events be run.
