HRRT - Stryczak Leads after First Leg of the Rally Poland Historic
The no3 Porsche 911 Monte of Marcin and Mateusz Stryczak finished the first leg at the head of the FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies leader board after completing nine Regularity Test Sections under moonlight conditions in the Polish countryside.
The 28 competitors started the first leg at the Tauron Arena in Krakow before starting on the 277.87km long first leg that ended at midnight for an overnight stop in the town of Moderowka.
The no3 Porsche completed the leg with the least penalties, accumulating a score of just 115.9, just 0.7 points ahead of the no4 VW Golf 1 GTI of Russian teammates Ilya Kashin and Boris Kostryko.
The third placed car eligible for the FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies at the end of Leg 1 was the no6 Lancia Delta HF 4WD of Paolo Concari and Cristiano Androvandi, the Italians finishing the day in 5th overall with a total of 187.7.
Leg 2 will begin at 09h30 and will feature 7 Regularity Test Sections over 160.01km.
