Rudolf Pešović will complete the 2017 FIA European Touring Car Cup season in ASK GM Racing’s Audi RS3 LMS.
The French-born, US-domiciled Serb scored points on his debut ETCC race weekend at the Hungaroring in mid-April with seventh place in the second of two races at the track.
He returns for the season-closing rounds at Zolder (15-17 September) and Most (6-8 October) when he will be a contender for points finishes.
ETCC consultant Eric Nève said: “It’s great Rudi is returning to the ETCC for what promise to be two entertaining events as this exciting season draws to a close at Zolder and Most. After scoring points in Hungary, we hope Rudi will enjoy more success in Belgium and Czech Republic.”
ASK GM Racing Team Co-ordinator Petar Jankovic said: “We’re very pleased to be coming back to the ETCC following a successful outing at the Hungaroring in early May. Hopefully we can score more points at two entertaining venues.”
Petr Fulín tops the ETCC standings after eight events, 13 points ahead of Christjohannes Schreiber with Norbert Nagy and Igor Stefanovski just two points behind Schreiber. Plamen Kralev, from Bulgaria, is the other Audi RS3 LMS exponent in the ETCC driving for Kraf Racing.
