The DS 3 WRC crew of Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle claimed an emphatic victory in Rally de Portugal today, the pair dominating from the second stage of the event to win by 29.7 seconds. A titanic battle developed between the Volkswagen crews and Andreas Mikkelsen and Anders Jaeger overhauled reigning World Champions Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia to take the second step of the podium.

DS 3 WRC driver Kris Meeke takes a 45.3 second lead into the final day of Rally de Portugal, the fifth round of the FIA World Rally Championship. The Northern Irish driver lost some ground to Sébastien Ogier this afternoon but remains in control of the leaderboard with four stages and 67.32 competitive kilometres remaining. After a great battle with Dani Sordo, Andreas Mikkelsen moved ahead of the Spaniard to fill the remaining provisional podium position.
