The 60-minute session that determines which cars will take part in tomorrow evening’s Hyperpole session saw the #7 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR010 and #52 AF Corse Ferrari take the top spots in LMH and LMGTE Pro respectively.

The #7 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR010-Hybrid was the quickest in the first three-hour practice session ahead of this weekend’s 89th 24 Hours of Le Mans, with Jose Maria Lopez posting a 3m29.309 lap time, beating the #36 Alpine Elf Matmut A480-Gibson into second place by just 0.086s and another 0.001s ahead of the #8 Toyota.

Round 4 of the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship is the 89th 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The FIA World Endurance Championship will conclude its 2021 season with a double-header in the Kingdom of Bahrain, marking the championship’s first ever back-to-back race weekend.

Five-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, and double FIA World Champion, Derek Bell will follow in the footsteps of Emanuele Pirro as Grand Marshal at the 89th 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is Round 4 of the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship. He will lead out the 62 cars on the formation lap ahead of the 16:00 start on 21 August.

The winning crews gathered in the media centre for the post-race press conference after the 6 Hours of Monza, Round 3 of the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Mike Conway took the chequered flag to win the WEC 6 Hours of Monza after a dramatic event which saw a close battle between Toyota and Alpine in the final two hours.

The four pole position holders from each class came up to the press conference area to answer questions ahead of tomorrow’s 6 Hours of Monza, Round 3 of the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Toyota will start from a 1-2 position for tomorrow’s WEC 6 Hours of Monza after Jose-Maria Lopez set the fastest time in the 10-minute qualifying session this evening that was interrupted by a red flag due to the no28 JOTA Oreca-Gibson crashing into the barriers. Porsche took the LMGTE pole as Kevin Estre swept to his fourth consecutive top spot in the no92 Porsche 911 RSR 19.

The final free practice session for the 6 Hours of Monza saw Jose-Maria Lopez set the fastest time seen so far this weekend in the No.7 Toyota GR010-Hybrid which has topped all three sessions so far. Porsche again led Ferrari in LMGTE Pro, while JOTA took over the top of the class times in LMP2 and AF Corse were fastest in LMGTE Am.
