The FIA World Motor Sport Council convened for its final meeting of 2023. The meeting was chaired by FIA Deputy President for Sport Robert Reid and WMSC members joining in person in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, and via video conference from around the world.

After an extensive selection process, the winners of the 2023 FIA Girls on Track - Rising Stars edition have been determined. Alba Hurup Larsen (Denmark) has won the Senior edition. FDA will monitor her progress next season on visits to Maranello. After an excellent demonstration both on and off the track, Vanesa Silkunaite (Lithuania) has won in the Junior category.

2023 saw the President’s United Against Online Abuse campaign gain significant momentum. As part of our commitment as a knowledge-led federation, the UAOA team launched a series of workshops dedicated to educating our young athletes on how to define online abuse, protect themselves on platforms and manage changing environments as up-and-coming competitors.
