The FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship is celebrating a win award at International Historic Motoring Awards

Encouraged by the phenomenal success of the Blancpain Endurance Series, which has rapidly become a global reference for GT racing, world-renowned Swiss watch maker Blancpain and the SRO Motorsports Group today announce that they have reached an agreement to extend their partnership to the Sprint series, previously promoted as the FIA GT Series.

Yvan Muller on pole position is nothing new, as today the new WTCC champion scored his eighth pole of the season out of ten qualifying sessions.

Raffaele Marciello, whose performances had been fairly low key till then, waited for the closing minutes of qualifying to snatch pole position in the streets of Macau. Behind the Italian came Felix Rosenqvist and Alex Lynn.

And so the sun is about to set on the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship, the eighth and final round – the 6 Hours of Bahrain – taking place at the Bahrain International Circuit between 28-30 November.

Pepe Oriola and Yvan Muller swapped positions in the second Free Practice, as the young Spaniard was able to clock a lap of 2:31.027 that beat Muller’s 2:31.256.

In a sunny morning Yvan Muller topped the time sheet in the first Free Practice session, posting a lap of 2:31.121 that left the rest of the field seven tenths of a second behind.
