Members of the Formula 1 Commission gathered today, 25 April, in Geneva for the second meeting of 2023 ahead of the FIA Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix taking place this weekend. Top of the agenda were proposed updates to the Sprint format, which were pending approval for implementation at the upcoming event in Baku. A collaboration between FIA and Greater Than, the FIA Smart Driving Challenge analyses real-time driving behaviour using Greater Than’s pattern AI technology. Participants in the 2022 Season achieved an average CO2 saving of 12.3% vs the global average.*
