The FIA Smart Driving Challenge 2023 Season’s final was held in Dubai, UAE, with the support of FIA Member Club the Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO). Alexandre Stricher claimed the victory, after a safe and eco-friendly drive through the centre of the city.

In a major step forward, the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) launched the Indian Development Program (IDP) in September 2023, with a vision to create an inclusive future and put India at the forefront of racing.

The Automóvil Club de Chile (ACCHI) project delivered training to over 100 bus drivers in Santiago. The programme was supported by an FIA Sustainable Mobility Grant, funded by the FIA Foundation.

This autumn, Avto-Moto Zveza Slovenije (AMZS) hosted the FIA Region I’s and ARC Europe’s 2023 Road Patrol Training for Excellence, while the Automobile Association of Kenya (AA Kenya) hosted the FIA Region I African Council of Touring and Automobile Clubs (ACTA) Road Patrol Training for Excellence.

The FIA and the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) recently hosted the second edition of the FIA Drag Racing Scrutineers Training at Dirab Park, Riyadh, from 8-9 November.

The FIA University continues its commitment to empower Member Clubs. Following the successful delivery of the FIA University Emerging Leaders and Senior Executive Programmes, it proudly reports the success of its flagship courses: the Certificate in Motorsport Leadership and Management and the Certificate in Modern Sport Governance. Launched respectively in June and October 2023, these courses have seen an overwhelming response with over 250 individuals actively enrolled. Developed and delivered by the FIA, theyare offered to Members at no cost.

The Automobile Association of South Africa (AASA) has received its first 1-star rating from the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) Environmental Accreditation Programme.
