1 October 2009 – The Slovakia Ring was inaugurated; the first permanent racetrack in the Slovak Republic was designed by experienced Austrian architect Hans Roth.
29 April 2011 – A sell out crowd gathered at the circuit on the occasion of the first WTCC visit; SEAT Lukoil drivers Gabriele Tarquini and Aleksei Dudukalo claimed a dominant one-two finish in Race 1.
28 April 2013 – Gabriele Tarquini encored his 2012 victory from pole position, giving the first WTCC win to the Honda Civic; Tiago Monteiro and Norbert Michelisz completed an impressive 1-2-3 for the Japanese Manufacturer.
