The FIA is delighted to announce a new partnership with Advanced SimRacing, which becomes an Official Supplier to the FIA for Professional Sim Racing Installations.

This agreement brings together the FIA’s worldwide membership of motor sport competitors, enthusiasts and fans with the premier retailer and supplier for racing simulation parts and peripherals in North America, and most importantly, the global leader in turnkey racing simulator installations for motor sport professionals, amateurs and enthusiasts.

With esports as one of the fastest-growing forms of motor sport, the FIA is committed to maximising its accessibility and lowering barriers to entry so that more people than ever can participate. Whether as a tool to train for real-world motor sport competitions, or as a discipline in its own right, the incredible rate of development for simulation technology makes esports one of the most important frontiers of development for the FIA.

Commenting on the partnership announcement, FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem said: “Sim racing has helped to open up motor sport to the masses, driving accessibility and inclusion and engaging enthusiasts across the globe. The FIA is committed to increasing participation in our sport and this new partnership with Advanced SimRacing allows us to continue developing and working towards an even more innovative and inclusive future.”

The partnership with Advanced SimRacing carries with it new opportunities for the FIA’s network of National Sporting Authorities (ASNs) to access the latest sim racing equipment, as well the largest and world’s most qualified team of racing simulation technicians and specialists.

“We are continuing to expand our global esports activities, and the FIA’s collaboration with Advanced SimRacing will make the thrill of racing more accessible by making it easier and more cost-effective for our ASNs to organise events,” said Eric Stranne, FIA Project Manager – Esports. “Like all forms of motor sport, virtual racing exists from grassroots all the way up to a professional level, and through our fantastic partners we are working to ensure that participation around the world continues to grow.”

The Advanced SimRacing team only uses the best, latest and greatest technology from key partners and manufacturers in the simulation industry in order to build the most accurate and true-to-life racing simulators, allowing everyone from motor sport professionals to amateur enthusiasts to train at the highest level and arrive on track more prepared than ever.

Marc André Ladouceur, Advanced SimRacing, Co-Owner & Chief Marketing Officer, said, “Our goal as a team of racing simulation specialists is to bring credibility to our trade and technology. This new partnership with the FIA helps us showcase simulation excellence and demonstrate how proper training with industry-leading equipment can translate to on-track performance. We strongly believe racing simulation represents an integral part of Motorsports’ future, and we are looking to the FIA to help bring this vision to life in the coming years. By working with the organisation, we hope to extend our reach and further define the immense value of racing simulation for professional-grade training.”

Over the last few years, a large number of drivers have been actively using Advanced SimRacing turnkey racing simulators to work their way up to multiple podiums and race wins.

“I got into SimRacing a few years back when real life racing was on hold and continue to use it as a training tool to prepare for my races around the world to this day,” says two-time Rolex 24 at Daytona Winner and Mercedes-AMG Factory Driver Daniel Morad. “Nobody does it better than Advanced SimRacing. Their attention to detail is what makes them the best in the business. For a professional driver, details matter immensely. They were able to build a high-performance simulator that emulates my real race car and helps me maximise my on-track performance at every opportunity.”

Advanced SimRacing is also the leading global distributor and integrator for D-BOX, another key FIA-licensed partner in the racing simulation market.
