The 64th Macau Grand Prix will be held 16-19 November 2017.

It is the end of season street fight showcasing talent on a circuit said to be the Monaco-of-the-East.

Macau is recognised for its ability to showcase new talent. Ten of the current F1 World Championship grid have competed on Macao’s Circuito Da Guia.

The second FIA F3 World Cup and the third FIA GT World Cup are the feature events of the Macau Grand Prix. This year they are joined by Round Nine of Ten of the FIA World Touring Car Championship.

The FIA F3 World Cup will be fought out exclusively by the cream of young drivers seeking to make a name for themselves in world motor sport. Eight of the top ten drivers from the 2017 FIA Formula 3 European Championship as well as six of the seven rookies who contested the series will race at Macau. Three of the top four runners in 2017 All-Japan Formula Three Championship will also be there.

Seven factory aligned teams have made the FIA GT World Cup the strongest ever field. Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Honda, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche have secured a stellar line-up of drivers under the race’s new ‘professionals-only’ rules.

TRACK: CIRCUITO DA GUIA

The Guia Circuit is named for the hill around which it passes. It offers a mix of challenging corners, altitude changes and high and low speed sectors. Unpredictable conditions test the highest skill levels. The circuit’s yellow-and-black barriers loom high over the competing vehicles and offer little in the way of braking point definition or run-off areas. Waved yellow and even red flags are a feature of the event as the world’s best drivers in two categories seek to reinforce their credentials.
