Jari-Matti Latvala hadn't won in the FIA World Rally Championship since Rally Sweden in mid-February. But he's a winner again following a standout performance on Wales Rally GB where he led a Ford one-three.

The agonising thing for Ford on Wales Rally GB was not just that it was the first factory win for 217 days, but also that it came frustratingly close to being a perfect one-two: a result that has eluded the works squad since Rally Australia one year ago.

The 30,000 spectators for the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, the fifth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, were treated to the sight of a flawless outright victory for the No.7 Toyota TS030 Hybrid.

Alex Wurz timed his run to perfection and with just five minutes of the qualifying session remaining and secured the first pole position for the Toyota Racing TS030-Hybrid with a 1m22.383 lap around the Interlagos track.

Under cloudy skies, but on a dry track, the nr1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro was once again the fastest car on the 4.3km Interlagos circuit during the final Free Practice session of the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo.
