The no8 Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050-Hybrid, with Kazuki Nakajima and Brendon Hartley, was the fastest car in qualifying and will start at the head of the grid for tomorrow’s 6 Hours of Fuji, Round 2 of the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship. The average lap time was 1m25.013, 0.790 seconds ahead of their teammates Jose Maria Lopez and Kamui Kobayashi in the no7 Toyota in the red flag interrupted session.

The no8 Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050-Hybrid finished the third and final Free Practice ahead of the 30 car field with Brendon Hartley posting the fastest time of the weekend so far. The New Zealander set a 1m25.621, just two thousandths faster than Kazuki Nakajima’s best time at the end of the first day at Fuji Speedway.
