The third international FIA Women in Motorsport Seminar got underway today, July 7, in the Principality of Monaco. Nearly 80 delegates from 68 countries joined the opening day of the two-day Seminar, which is designed to unite the motor sport community and its national sporting authorities, discuss and debate the challenges affecting women, and identify areas where promoting greater awareness and inclusivity within the sport can be accelerated.

La Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) a commandé à EY-Parthenon une étude mondiale destinée à mesurer l’impact économique et social du sport automobile. L’étude souligne l’importance de cette industrie, qui est évaluée directement et indirectement à 160 milliards d’euros de chiffre d’affaires global annuel et à 1,5 million d’emplois directs ou indirects. Elle démontre que le sport automobile peut contribuer au rebond de l’économie dans le contexte de la pandémie de Covid-19.
