To promote e-scooter safety and awareness in Australia, the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ), member of the Australian Automobile Association (AAA), has joined forces with the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), leveraging JAF's expertise to inspire impactful safety content.

Last month, FIA Mobility attended the General Meeting of the Regional Observatory for Road Safety in Ibero-American Countries (OISEVI) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to discuss road safety challenges in Latin America. The event gathered more than 20 national road safety agencies and key international organisations, including the WHO, World Bank, IADB, FICVI and iRAP.

In Teesdorf, Austria, the 22 national Best Young Driver finalists competed for this year’s FIA Region I International Best Young Driver title.

For their third meeting of the year, members of the World Council Automobile Mobility and Tourism (WCAMT) gathered online to review progress in advancing the agenda for a safer, more sustainable and accessible mobility and the goal to build a knowledge-led federation driven by its Members.

With the support of the FIA Road Safety Grants Programme funded by the FIA Foundation, FIA Member Club Automovel e Touring Clube of Mocambique (ATCM) launched the Return to Safer Schools programme in collaboration with a local road safety NGO, Amend, and conducted activities to improve the road safety situation for the students at five local schools.

In Cundinamarca, Colombia, a training on drone operation was carried out for all FIA Region IV Clubs. The event was organised by the Touring y Automóvil Club de Colombia (ACC) together with the Drone & Vertical Mobility Academy .
