Jean Todt awarded at the International Automobile Festival

On the occasion of the 30th edition of the International Automobile Festival, held on 27 January 2015 in Paris, Jean Todt, President of the FIA, was awarded the Palme d’or.

Each year, this prize awards the outstanding achievements of an individual having played a fundamental role in the evolution of the automobile. This year, it was presented to Jean Todt for his career in motor sport, but also for his involvement in road safety across the world and in other major humanitarian causes in his role as Founding Member and Vice Chairman of the ICM (Brain and Spine Institute) and President of the Board of Directors of the Suu Foundation, which works to advance the health and education of the people of Myanmar. 

Michelle Yeoh, who shares these commitments, accompanied him as he received this award.

In this list of award winners, he succeeds personalities such as Jacky Ickx, Alain Prost, Vincent Bolloré, Lewis Hamilton, Sébastien Loeb and Michael Schumacher.

Through him, the FIA as a whole is honoured.
