The FIA participated in the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety’s 2025 Safe Mobility Conference, held in Madison (Winsconsin, USA). Focusing on “Delivering Safe and Reliable Transport System”, the Conference gathered 220 participants and provided a valuable opportunity to explore the U.S. approach to traffic safety and discuss challenges, solutions, and best practices.

Rovanperä rockets into Sunday with a 45.2 sec lead, having won 12 of 13 stages and nearly doubled his overnight advantage Hot on his heels, Sébastien Ogier holds second, 22.9 sec ahead of Elfyn Evans, consolidating his runner-up spot. Following closely, Takamoto Katsuta sits fourth, just 25.7 sec ahead of Adrien Fourmaux in fifth.

The second edition of the FIA Innovation Challenge, a global challenge designed to spotlight and accelerate FIA Mobility Members’ cutting-edge initiatives that drive growth, development and knowledge-sharing, received 43 entries from Clubs across the four FIA Mobility Regions.

The second meeting of the Formula 1 Commission in 2025 took place today, April 24 at the offices of the FIA in Geneva and online. The meeting was chaired by FIA Single-Seater Director Nikolas Tombazis and FOM President and CEO Stefano Domenicali.
