FIA Courts

The FIA’s General Assembly has adopted a new judicial system which includes an International Tribunal (IT) exercising the FIA’s disciplinary powers in the first instance (for cases not dealt with by the Stewards of the Meeting), and an International Court of Appeal (ICA) with updated rules and functions.

At its meeting of 5 November, the General Assembly elected judges to sit upon each body:  12 to the IT and 24 to the ICA.

This new judicial organisation came into effect as of 1 January 2011.
